Which one of the following characteristics best describes children who are severely emotionally disturbed?

I don't really believe in a set combination of characteristics, as may be stated in any text books or research as it is common in today's society to be contradictory. I've come across many a child who has no tell tale sign of instability, break down in-front of me, whilst several have had medical problems that do have several of these characteristics, and there are those who are just plane weird. The most reliable approach to determine the emotional status of a child, is to ask those who are closest or are in daily commune with the child, or simply chat with the child. I hope I'm helping, Ta!
