What are the qualifications for a BBC reporter or Correspondent?

I am doing an ignment and need to know a little more about the BBC reporter, Wendy Urquhart. She reported about the Cholera epidemic in Zimbabwe and how "The Elders" weren't allowed in Zimbabwe. I bet BBC has high qualifications for her.
