I'm doing an essay on "Night" by Elie Wiesel?

Personally I would explore Elie's Father's death. The fact that his father died just before Buchenwald was liberated. In the divine it could be seen as Elie no longer need a support and could go on with out his father. You could explore how his father helped or hindered Elie's survival. There are specific quotes where Elie wished his father would die and where he felt ashamed at that thought. Also I would look into the familial relationship that was or was not maintained during their imprisonment.
