Help with astral projecting, need some advice?

i'm just getting into it and i'm not sure but i think i may have had a bad astral experience, if it was an experience at all. i'm not sure if i was fully mobile, i felt as if i held something in my hand against my will, and it was sucking like a sort of vacuum, it felt like it was sucking the air from my face so it was getting increasingly difficult to breath. if someone out there with a lot of persona experience could give me some one on one via email i'd be gratefull, but atleast clarify thing on what happened
