Obama has made public the people who advise him. Cheney met in secret with corrupt heads of oil companies and energy companies like Enron to make energy policy. He refused to allow environmentalists into the discussion. The Bush administration went all the way to the Supreme Court to keep it a secret who was advising the administration and what the advise was.
