Ummmm how can i do this being polite?

ok so someone i know my friend is so full of acne and i've seen her cry many times because of it. Her mom wont let her use anything like proactive to clear it up cause she thinks shes beautiful the way she is. I love my friend n i wanna c her happy. would it b impolite or do u think it will make her happy if i give her proactive for christmas?
