New dogs are fighting...HELP?

I just moved in with my girlfriend and her two dogs. I brought my pup of course and all hell isbraking lose. Well, maybe its not that bad,, but one of her dogs is very protective of her. If EITHER of the dogs get near her, it ends up in a fight. I'm getting scared up and my poor pup is being terrorized. What do I do? Its been two months and its not getting better. Neither of her dogs listen very well and the one is such a bully. We thought it would be fine as they play so well at the park, but inside.....we've been having problems
