How do i handle a controlling, jealous foreigner boyfriend?

we've been dating for 8 months now, but he's a barker..he always like to know where i go or whom i talk to.he hates it when i forget to message him either online or on the phone.i love him so much..but he's beginning to suffocate me in a sense.he said he can't trust me enough because i am a beautiful woman, intelligent and employed...i'm starting to hate myself for playing the martyr girlfriend..yet i love him too much to give him up..HELP!
